This tournament was held on 29^th December at Portishead Primary School.

There were 31 entrants; 19 in Pool A (Junior Leagues 1 & 2) and 12 in Pool B (Divs. 3 & 4). The tournament started in the morning with Pool A playing in groups and subsequently splitting into a main competition and a plate competition. There were several close matches throughout the morning, in particular Joe Ratajczak in the quarter final and Chris Edwards in the semi-final, both losing to the eventual winner.

However, probably the greatest drama was reserved until the end of the afternoon when the Pool B final was played. At the start William Zhu took the lead with a comfortable win in the first game. The next two games were very close then Andrew Smith looked unstoppable as he won the fourth and opened up a huge lead in the deciding game. William was not to be so easily beaten, however, and point by point pulled back to level the scores at 10 all. Even then the game was only halfway through and it took another 20 points before Andrew finally won.
