Specialist Disability Coach Required

42 years old gentleman with cerebal palsy has only been playing table tennis for the last 2 ½ years. Competes competitively in the Bristol and Stroud Table Tennis Leagues representing Filton College and Thornbury table tennis clubs and enters various disability tournaments around England. When available also attends England MenCap Table Tennis coaching weekends at Grantham, Lincolnshire.

I enjoy practising and learning new techniques, but unable to replicate practice sessions shots into match and tournament play. I am looking for a person who specialises in coaching those individuals with a disability that can develop my style of play and potential. My aim is to represent my country at the Cerebal Palsy World Games in 2009.

Practice facilities available at Thornbury TTC

Thornbury Table Tennis Club meet on Monday (6.00 - 9.00pm) and Wednesday (7.00 - 9.30pm) evenings at The Castle School, catering for all ages and levels of ability from beginners to experienced league players. A minimum of 10 tables are commonly employed and an abundance of willing opponents are available or, if you're feeling particularly brave and full of energy, why not test yourself against the clubs robot!!

Bristol League players are equally welcome to come along and benefit from our superb practice facilities on a pay as you play basis.

Costs are £4.00 for adults, £2.50 for children and £5.00 for an adult + child.
